Default Off-set for EM1

I am looking at getting some wheels for my EM1, I can get a killer deal but they are 40mm off-set. Is this the off-set I need? What would be best for 16", with 205-45-16 tires on a EM1?

40 Will work.....The average normal offset that people use on our cars is usually between +35 and +45

For a 7" wide wheel on an '88-00 Civic (and its derivatives), +40 to +42 mm is generally the offset you want.
