Default Wheel offset and drivablity.

I had some questions. First off the stock offset for the del sol (basically civic) is 35mm. Please correct me if I am wrong. So what would happen driving wise if I were to use wheels with a 25mm offset with a slightly wider wheel? how does it change driving and turning?

thanks in advance guys.

the stock offset should be +45 not +35. you can use a 25, but it depends on how wide you want to go in order to determine rub. i have run +38 with 8 and it rubs a bit at full lock and when jumping things. a +40 with 7.5 will not rub under most circumstances.

thanks I hate bad info that floats around. KK i was eyeing these but they are way out of the question cuz of the offset

those wheels will fit. you just can't lower the car too much nor can you jump things or turn full lock going hella fast. the wheels will line up real nice with the fenders. i have a friend with some work wheels that are the same size. they look pretty good.
