How do you use a d16y8 harness on a b16a2 if the dizzy plugs are different? Ive got a 2000 civic ex harness and im trying to use it with a b16a2 and a p2t ecu. Can I get it to work? theres 9 wires on the b16a2 dizzy and 8 wires on the engine harness plug....

I WILL PAY!!!!! IF SOMEONE KNOWS HOW TO!!!


THE EX ENGINE HARNESS DOES NOT HAVE A LIGHT BLUE WIRE.....

The dizzy plugs are different.

Have you tried searching? I hate searching for people to find quick and obvious answers.

Easiest way is to repin using the B16A dizzy connector. Depin the y8 connector and REMEMBER where each wire goes, use your pictues as a guide. #2(skinny black/yellow) is going to become #9(FAT black/yellow). Easiest way is to cut OFF the skinny black/yellow wire and solder the FAT black/yellow wire as a replacement. #10 of the B16A plug is not used. I'll take pictures of what I did to B18C swap and post it later. Hope this helps. 8)
