Difference between 4dr and 2dr Exhausts
I was wondering what is different in length, the axelback, or the b pipe? Reason Im asking is that I noticed 4dr rear bumpers are considerably longer than a 2drs
im pretty sure the difference is in the axleback. I have a 4dr but i got a good deal on an N1 catback for a 2dr....everything fit well except the axleback.. i took it to a muffler shop and they added a couple inches of pipe to make it fit just right
**** now I have different responses
I always thought it was the B pipes different in length, but then I saw that the rear bumper (begind the axel) is longer on 4 drs so I thought there might be a chance that the axelback was longer.
Now in the DB Squad thread they're telling me the TIP is longer. expletive. I just want to buy an exhaust

I bought my car w/ a 2.5" Greddy SP exhaust.. I pulled the axle back part off and put the stock axle back piece on: Bolted up perfect.
It's the middle section of the exhaust thats longer, like 4-5" (just a guess) But it's longer NOT the axle back.

The axle back are the same. I drive a 4dr and my buddy drive a 2dr and we both bought Holly Thundermuff catback on ebay. He can put his on perfectly with out any modification. but I had to extend the B-pipe 3" to get it to bolt up to the axle back
