Default 4dr and 2dr axleback difference?

is there any difference in length/degree in the 2dr axleback exhaust, or the 4dr? or are they exactly the same, and its the mid-pipe that makes it longer? in other words im trying to use a 4dr axleback with my coupe mid-pipe.. will it fit like normal?

It should be longer, so it will probably be pushed against the bumper.

I've used 2dr axlebacks on my 4dr, and the muffler tip will be even with the bottom of the bumper.

The 2dr axleback is shorter making it a flush and tighter fit on a 4dr.

yeah they will work but you will find that the rubber pieces that hold the axelback will be stretched rearward when the 4dr axelback is put on the 2 dr one and the muffler will be up tight against the body and it will "rattle". I did this months ago until I found a coupe one for cheap. The rattle got very annoying.

The Sedan muffler tip section is 4 inches longer than the Coupe.

So if you throw a DB axle back section on a DC, your exhaust tip will stick out from the rear bumper instead of being flush with the end of the bumper.

A DC axle back section on a DB will result in the exhaust tip being tucked behind the bumper. The tip wont even stick out from the bumper opening,.

He's right. I have a dc2 non brand axleback exhaust on my db8 and the back exhaust is tucked in behind the bumper. But then i have an accord mid pipe on mine though. So not sure if it'll make a different.

Makes no difference....Although i'm curious how well the Accord mid-pipe fits on a DB...?

I never did measure mine so im not sure. but may be it is 4 inches longer. For the back it'll be the same but at the front it'll go past where the cat is at so you'll have to cut the piping or the header. On mine the previous owner cut the header so now im stuck with a f'ed up pipping, i cant fit any other headers on at all.
