Default ecu trouble

i almost have my civic figured out but one problem. The original owner installed a v-tec e motor but he left two ecu's in the car neither of which are hooked up. I have the numbers off of them if someone can tell me if either are the right one i would appreiciate it.

what would be the best ecu to use? I have access to several salvage yards in my area.

supposedly the motor is out of a 93 civic vx my car is a 93 dx right now it has the dx ecu installed and it runs horrid. The guy i got it from just gave me the car and the stock motor with it for an old pickup i had sitting behind the garage.

the p07. thats the correct ecu for the car. the p06 is the ecu for the dx motor. also make sure that the vtec is wired in. just to let you know that motor is not a performance motor.

if you can get the b18 for cheap then go that route. also depends on what b18 it is. its fairly simple if you are knowledgeable on these type of things. do some searching there are like 500 threads on how to do it, as well as parts list...
