Default Need Help. Civic Throwing A CODE!

Hey was up. My car is not running right. It bogs through all of the PM's. It sounds like an STi. I have a 92 eg with a jdm b16 w a PR3 ECU. I did the paper clip thing and the check engine light turned on. My question is how do i check what that light means? So anything may help I really need to fix this. Thanks.

are you counting the lights correct, there are long and short, the long =10 and short =1

Reset the codes, by taken the batt off for 10-15 min and retry

There is an obd1 pr3, it was designed to run with the b16. It would be rather hard to plug an obd0 ecu into the car unless it was wired properly for it, so I would not point to that as being the issue just yet...

WTF are you talking about??

First of all, was your check engine light even on before you stuck the paper clip in there when the car is running?

Secondly, if you changed a sensor that was presumed to be broken, did you re-set the ecu?? If not the code should still show up.

I think your confussed!

But i would ask you this.. Is your timing off? Is it getting enough fuel? Do you need a tune up? Has it ran like this ever since u got the car?

No my timing isnt off. And i did a tune up like 6 days ago. Also when i got the car at idle it would be normal then go up and down from like 200 rpm to normal rpm. It would go up and down. I also think its getting TOO much gas cuse its wasting alot of gas so i think its getting too much.

I just finished getting back from my friends house and found out sum other stuff. We swapped Map sensors and it still did it. Also we swapped ecu's and yes we left let it sit so it can erase the problem and it still did it. Then earlier i bought a new cap and rotor for my distributor and it still did it. So im gonna assume that its gonna have sumthing to do with the wiring. If not then I HAVE NO CLUE!!!

so did you ever find out what the code was?
Did this car runs fine when you bought it?

What was the last thing that you did to it?
check spark plugs,check plug wires.
Check all wires located at the TB.
