I have some 15x7 35ET on my car (95 civic 4 door) lowered about 2". I did have to roll my rear fenders. Under hard braking + steering I do get some rubbing in the front but definately nothing to worry about. I would kill to have these wheels in ET 40 Depending on your ride height, you have to adjust camber also. I had to add camber in the rear.

How low are you?

Yes it would, but:

what height?
what size wheels?

15" ET35 fit in my car but i had to add camber in the rear and roll my fenders. That's with a 15x7

they are 15" wheels, i think that they are 15x6.5 or 15x7, with a 50mm or 60mm drop

You are going to have to roll your fenders in the rear at least and can't have any sort of camber kit. At that height you can't have any camber because the wheel sticks out too much. ET35 is low for civics. You are going to rub in the front for sure at that height, specially with lots of camber. Which you will HAVE to run.

it also depends on the tire size you want to use.

with the 35 offset with a 6.5" width, you should be ok...with a 7 inch wide wheel, you are pushing it on rubbing and too narrow of a tire. if you can, get a 205/50r15 tire with a 7" wide wheel with a 38mm positive offset.
