Here's my problem... First there was alot of squealing when I started my engine so I assumed that the belt got loose, I stopped the engine and let her rest for a day. Today I start her and everything is fine no squealing but the A/C doesnt work. On the way to my parents house I hear some more squealing and then clanking noise. I get to my parents house and check the compressor clutch... thing is it wasn't there. It was laying on the ground under my car.

My question is... will the pulley come off due to driving or can I make it another couple days till the weekend when I have the money to take my car into the shop for repairs??

If you could provide us with a picture, I could see how far the damage has gone. That really sucks, and I'd hate to say no driving, but it might just have to be that way.

 

Will do... I got warrenty on it and it goes to the dealership on friday so ill post the pics when i can just so yall can see the damage
