Is the heater blowing out Hot Air? or Cold air when the heat is on
then look towards your thermostat it could be sticking
if your are blowing out white smoke then you could have a blown headgasket

ok... i took the sol for a ride so it could heat up... got it to half way then let it idle in my driveway waiting for the fan to kick in... the gauge sat at half way for awhile without my fan kickin in.... too it around the block agian then the temp started to go up.... took it home, popped the hood and still no fan............ turn on the heater and it didnt blow that hot at first but then it started to get hotter and the temp went down...........
is my fan motor blown or is it a temp senso or somthing??????

sounds that your fan didn't turn on and maybe good chance blew a beadgasket.replace the head gasket and run the fan to your ignition (fuse box) so when you turn on the ignition your fan works all the time or fix the probem relay or switch or even the motor went bad

what ?
the timing belt goes around the waterpump. if that belt wasnt there the engine wouldnt of start.

yeah, the same thing happened to me. It's more than possible that he may have to replace it. If his thermostat was stuck closed, it could have gotten VERY hot. There's no need to yell at him when he may be right...

no i dont. it is straight up retarded to suggest someone fix the most expensive thing first when it could be something simple like thermostat WHICH IT WAS. i hate it when it could be such a little thing and someone goes "your motor is broken change it" stupid idiots
