Check your coolant level.
Check to see if your fan is turning on.

Since you took the thermostat out, if the coolant level is good and your fan is turning on, its probably time for a new radiator.

if your radiator good and fill to the proper level... make sure your fan turns on... if the fan doesnt turn on... go check your fuse for your fan... if not check the relay...i had problems like this also... so i recommmend the relay in the fuse box labeled " cooling fan relay"....

If the fan is working, check to see if theres air inside the hose, turn on engine, open radiator cap, squeeze the upper and lower hose.

if it still overheat, try flush the radiator. i bet if its stock unit there will be crapload of buildup inside. if it still exist, get a new AL radiator.
