cracked block

Default cracked block

i have a cracked block in my 91 hatch........is the only way to fix it is by putting in a new block or can i fix it some other way??

New block, new engine would be easier, not too expensive either. What kinda crack is it?

i have no idea
i was going down 95 and my car stopped accelration and i puuled to the side
motor was smoking

i like brought it home
there was no oil in it...
i refilled it

tried again

no oil

like there was spark and everything but it just wouldnt go


my baby is dead i shed a silent tear for it


pushed it in my drive way and went inside....now i look at it everyday thinking how much i miss it

haha I am in the same boat as you mate but I put a shoc zc in mine and it still sits cause I cant seem to pass emissions here at 15mph lol...so I sit and look at it with all the finished work I gave up on cause I cant drive it :-(

Happened to me once before on an old rex. All I heard was a metal clunking noise on the freeweay and the car jolted a few times and then died. When I got it home I found a hole in the front of the block and could see the crank.
