Ok, I have a 94 JDM H22A swap in my car. It runs fine and everything except when I go to floor it or get on it...the car hesitates then takes off. I thought it was the timing so I adjusted that. Didnt work! Then I thought it was the TPS so I checked the voltage on that. It was perfect! What else could be causing this!??!
I am open for any suggestions...

The only time it will throw a CEL is if I am driving on the interstate and then throw it into 4th then the light will come on, but as soon as I turn the car off and back on...it isnt on anymore and wont come on until I do it again.
Check ignition system- plugs,wires,rotor,cap,coil.check/replace fuel filter and fuel pressure.
Sounds like you have a bad electrical connection somewhere causing your cel.

yep i did that

haha if you jumped the service connector then you would know how to pull the codes...it flashes on the gauge cluster when that connector is jumped. just look at the check engine light.

It's right behind the radio, access it from the driver's footwell. It might be plugged into a brown rubber thing.
And you only need to turn it to ON position, no need to start the car.
Long light pulse = 10
Short light pulse = 1

keep turning it off then back to the on postition, when trying to pull a cel once it took liek 20 tries before the ****** would blink for me.. sometimes it's a pain in the *** for some reason.
edit: it also may not show you one if the cel isn't staying on. go drop it into 4th on the highway or whatever to bring up the CEL and only turn off the car once you are ready to check the cel.. I don;t think the ecu would "store" a cel and give you the code when it isn't detecting the problem anymore like that other guy said
