i have a accord coupe 94. My engine was really hot yesterday and i figure out that the radiator is broken. Is it possible to change it at home ? or i have to go somewhere to change it ? How much ? and any recommend place to do it ? thanks alot.

 

what do you mean its broken? you have a small leak or what?

 

yea, it's leaking evey time when i add more water to radiator

 

you know where its leaking from? If its just a small leak you could probably get away with radiator stop leak for a little while until you get around to replacing your radiator. I'd just start checking around price both new and used radiators. radiators are definitely a DIY if you're even slightly mechanically inclined. not hard at all.

also check to see if your radiator drain plug isnt loose. i hit a curb before and my radiator leaked all its fluids, i thought i had to get a new one but it just knocked the drain plug loose.

 

Also, it would be a good time to check the hoses too.

Radiators are Cheap, A stock one is probably around $100 bucks

There easy to put in, and Easy to take out

Itll take you about an hour

 

what website to order ? or store ? So i just need to change the radiator or i need to change anything else ? thanks bro.

BTW, anyone has instruction how to change the radiator ?
