Default Radiator problem...

Hey guys -

I think my radiator sprung a leak yesterday. When the car gets warmed up i can see a little bit of steam coming out from under the hood. I can't really locate the leak but it is coming from the bottom somewhere. I was wondering what my options are right now. Will I have to replace the whole thing? How much am I looking at approximately?

Thanks in advance!

well....the best thing to do is either replace the radiator or find a REALLY good welder and fix the leak. Ultimately, though, another leak will probably spring in the radiator and you'll need a new one. That's if it's the radiator...

it's probably one of the hoses. check 'em all, and replace what you need...

Defenitly check your hoses first. If they look fine, then check around on your radiator

Seeing that a new radiator is like 100 dollars it wouldnt be worth it to pay someone to weld it. I know it seems stupid but make sure the cap is on all the way.

Yes, check the radiator hoses, the cap, and the radiator.

If the radiator has a leak, I would just replace it. Get an OEM replacement for less than $115 shipped to you. If the radiator has a hole in it, that means it is dead. The cooling system is not something you want to cheap out on.
