Swap almost done. Random questions.
DON'T WORRY NO VACUUM QUESTIONS YET
This is an OBD-1 LS swap into DPFI Civic. Pics would make this 10x easier I know sorry.
1) There are 2 short rubber hoses coming out of my speed sensor. Where do they go?
2) There is an open coolant nipple just below the upper radiator hose by the block (it points down & towards the back of the bay). There is also an open nipple just under the throttle body. Do I connect these??
3) Oil breather box on back of block has 2 ports on top. The one is very short and runs up into the block. The other one *I think* is PCV. Where the hell does that hose run??
4) Why the hell are there so many plugs that will fit into the same sensor

This one is near the front of the engine though....just below the upper radiator hose neck.
I really need to get pics lol

I read somewhere that the 2 nipples coming out of the speed sensor are for powersteering and add high speed stability to the PS when your traveling at higher speeds. I have always just looped mine and never had an issue. As for the PCV, just loop it all togeathor so eventually it gets to the black box. As for the coolant nipple, we definetly need pics haha. Good luck.

That is for "speed assisted power steering.."
{it is actually a small pump}
What most do is to loop a piece of hose and fill it
with power steering fluid to keep it lubricated..
The two hoses are different sizes,I think I used 5/16" hose to join them..

^ Very helpful question #1 is now solved!! Thanks
Still not sure on where the PCV line from the breather tank actually ends up.....
OK here's some pics of those (coolant?) nipples I was talking about
Here is the one that's just under the upper radiator hose neck. Hope it's clear enough. It's sticking out at about the 6 o'clock position from the open hose.

I'm wondering if it hooks to this nipple here, under the throttle body.
If it doesn't go there.....it might go where I hooked the red hose up, at the top of the TB. Anyone know for sure what goes where on these ports??

OK next...I have this plug left over from my harness (remember OBD-0 DX ---> OBD-1 MPFI) It's in the vicinity of that same damn upper rad hose, but I can't see where the hell it goes.

Here's what it looks like again: One flat spade-type connector

Thanks again j00 guys rock

Hey thanks for the helpful responses! According to the diagram those 2 ports do connect. That answers all the original questions....
Forgot to mention I removed the charcoal canister prior to dropping the engine in. Think I remember hearing that you just leave the vent hose hanging and plug the other vacuum ports.....
