hmm so i had a really weird problem today.....i dono where its coming from

here's the issue..

Today i went to wash my car in my yard...
blah blah....ta da...its clean

after i was done drying it i move it to detail it....well once i went to start it up....i always let the CEL go away then i crank it...but this time the CEL never came on...so i was like wtf?...so i cranked it anyway....and it fired right up....but was running like it had no IACV....weird.....so i pull it around...the front..and re-set the ecu....nothing happens...so i pull the ecu....and it looks alrite....BUT...i see water on my floorboard down by the ecu...so i'm like wtf...so i pull the ecu cover off and bam....definatly somehow there was water inside of the ecu...not alot...but a couple of dabs...not good....it ended up frying the ecu....


besides the point of me being out an ecu...
where the heck could this waster of come from..i know the targa can leak...but it wasn't.....any ideas....

my poor LS motor has to run with my Type R ecu now....oh well tho...

integras have this problem too....especially the DAs, check the seals around the hood by the windshield outside...those go bad after awhile

 

their is a tech service bulletin on 92-95 civics having a leak in the framerail area around the lower portion of the a pillars. the tsb shows how to use seam sealer to correct this problem. this may be what is happening with your car. if you search you may be able to find more info. hope this helps

your obviously searching for topics on me to see if i'm a "scammer" i'm not a scammer...this thread has seriosuly been dead for a while now...i fixed the problem by just pulling my ecu everday...
