do you have an ignition box like an msd-sci or msd-6a?

not sure i fyou can replace the stock coil with a blaster without upgrading ignition boxes.

Do you have a dizzy with an external coil? If so, its no problem. I mounted my Blaster 2 coil on top of the starter. Then connect it to the dizzy cap.

well i found out how to do it from the MSD website in the forum section, another person had the same question so i just went by that,

the prelude has three wire two on the positive one on the negative. the wires on the positive side are black\yellow and the wire on the negative side is white\blue. all you have to do is run the two black\yellow to the plus side of the MSD coil and the white\blue to the negative side of the MSD coil.

man if you have spark problems in the future check that coil first thing...those msd coils poop out real fast..especially in turbo cars

You must realize that MSD coils are designed to work with something like 500 volts input from a capacitive discharge system. They will work, but will work best with an MSD box.

well if you're getting a box then the coil will hook directly to that.
