clutchmasters makes some very good quality clutches. they are a little expensive.......but they are worth it. centerforce is another good one.
STAY AWAY FROM ACT AND ACTION CLUTCHES!!!!!
If there is any good advice that i can share with you it is that right there^^.
they will eventually destroy your motor. here's my thread on it......

I have run ACT clutches for over 5 years and the only thing I can suggest is NOT to get a 6 puck for smooth engagement.
I have also run Clutchmasters, Centerforce and Competition Clutches.
I have an ACT XTSS i my h22 hatch and its stiff as hell, its been in there since 2002 without an issue. Its a little stiff but engages smoothly with the street disc.
I had an ACT HDSS in my accord with an h22 swap and it worked great for nearly 60k miles when it wore out. I later put a lower mialge ACT HDR6 in and HATED it due to clutch chatter and harsh engagement...well let me correct that I hated it from a stand still, once I got moving it rocked.
Currently I am running a Competition Clutches stage 3 in my h22 accord and relaly like it, it grabs but is not harsh at all. Plus pedal feel is very nice for daily driving....and it was cheaper than both the ACT and Clutchmasters Clutches (on a gsr civic) i used in the past.

from experience i can tell you that w/ a boosted h22 you will need a full disk ( not a 3,4, or 6 puck) and a strong pressure plate unless you want to go w/ a twin disk($$$). otherwise you will be buying another clutch when yours starts slipping @ 6k.
I vote for Competition Clutch Stage 3 or 4. I wanted the Stage 3 but they were out of stock. I have the Stage 4 in my car (just installed yesterday) and it grabs great. Pedal is stock like and smooth engagement is not compromised. I think it's rated to handle a little over 400hp.
what about like for basic mods like i/h/e, stage 2 cams, apexi vtec controller, not much of mods but what kind of clutch would u recomend stage 1 or 2 and what brand and a flywheel?
just bought an action 2ks clutch.
Kevlar Sprung Segmented Disk

"All Action Clutch 2KS Clutch Kits feature a dual diaphragm heavy duty pressure plate, 8 puck kevlar sprung segmented disk which is capable of supporting up to 375 horsepower. Clutch engagement is very smooth and linear similar to the O.E.M. unit."

where did you get your clutch from and for how much?? Does the kevlar eat up the flywheel quicker?

picked up a 12lbs flywheel and that clutch from a friend for quite a bargain.
from what i was told, the kevlar pads will outlast the ceramic pads by a long shot. I wouldnt think it would eat up the flywheel anymore than a cermanic disk would.
