Default B16a2 swap throwing CEL 4 why???

I swapped in a B16a2 into my hatch.

I converted everything to obd0. I am running a chipped OBD0 PR3 ECU.

CEL 4 is showing. What is causing it? and how do I fix it?

thanks

its the crank position sensor inside the distributor.

was your car originally 2 injectors?

If it's not wiring related I believe you must try a new dizzy. If you can find a known good one and it does the same thing it's likely wiring.

Well one i would suggest using obd0 B series injectors, and two i would say to make sure you are using a good known condition obd0 b16 distributor.

If your hatch is a std or dx other then a mpfi model, then thats most likely the problem, something must have come loose or is not hooked up right.

well this is my friends car and he did the swap with his friends, so im just trying to figure out the problems here now..lol

but i just talked to him, and he said he tried 2 different ecu's and 3 distributors and all the same problem.

but then he told me he is using an OBD0 LS Distributor?

is there a difference between NON-VTEC and VTEC Distributors? I would think there is?

Uh yeah, he is SUPPOSE to use a VTEC b16a obd0 Distributor, not a LS b18 dizzy or 2 or 3 differen't LS dizzy's, a b16a obd0 VTEC dizzy ONLY is what he needs to use. If he has not used one of those yet then he needs too, and he needs to re check his mpfi wiring he did or whoever did if that doesn't solve the problem because it's either of those two from what you explained already.
