Imagine if the windows were closed when you started that thing? I bet it would suck the air right out of your lungs and your head would implode! lol

i high;y doubt it's Street legal. i am more than certain once he gets cited and is forced to take it to a court inspection station (most likley impounded prior to being on the street) then it will deemed non-street legal. and banned from street use. if he even attempts to drive it at that point, the law owns the car.

What a waste of time and energy!!!

He has done more harm to us as serious car modifiers than produce anything of value.

Keep in mind that it's not driving the wheels. It's been converted to just function as a jet (not driving a shaft as it would in a helicopter).

It would have been easier to just mount a couple JATO bottles, but then again that's been done by Myth Busters.

Were there any vids of it? I didn't see any that stood out anyways, i wanna see that thing running.

I think its funny that people are pissed that he's done this, shoulda used a bigger vehicle, so he could hide it better, then no more getting harrased, unless your on it when you pass a cop... i'd pay good money to see the cops expression if that happened.

Did anyone even read that before slamming him? Theres not all that much needed to be street legal, in way of having something just hanging there. Hell, there are those vehicles in shapes of a boot & radioflyer wagon that are street legal. He has the stock engine (probably with little done to it), stock wheels, safety equipment (I'd assume, as he's no dumbass), and just a GE t58 turbine hanging off the back. IIRC, at least in wisconsin your vehicle can't exceed 13 feet tall (class D, non-semi) and red flags on protruding items not secured. Since its part of the vehicle, I bet its just short enough to be legal. I doubt its legal to operate it with the turbine working.

that's what I was refering too. to fire that turbine up woudl mean instant stupidity/death (car will go out of controll) and impounding if he and the car survived it on the streets or highway.

I would imagine your head would explode in a low pressure area.

Man that is crazy...im surprised that its still street legal since if he fired up that jet engine it would be a danger to anything behind him just from the sheer heat
