resonator or cat converter??
i'm going to get a 2" piping done with my dynomax super turbo muffler at a local muffler shop. question is, i wanna make sure that i can hear my engine more than my exhaust ... so how do i quiet it down??
catalytic converter or resonator??
catalytic converter or resonator??
cats reduce a lot of noise and emissions, but i'd go with both if possible. and about cats slowing you down, they do, but if u get a high-flow cat it shouldnt slow u down too much.
when i had my stock exhaust system, i decided to take out the resonator first then the cat converter. the resonator didn't make it louder at all not a bit but when i took out the cat...geez after awhile i couldn't stand it any longer especially on the highways. which is better...a used honda cat converter or a decent aftermarket CAT ?? i'm choosing not to use a resonator since i'm only going to waste even more cash

Both will help tone down the exhaust note.
