96 civic not going into gear

Default 96 civic not going into gear

replaced the cv joint, and still wont drive, tranny fluid is fine, and clutch is tight. Starts fine, but rolls in gear, and now making a grinding noise under left side when accelerated in gear. Please help

sounds like the clutch is going out. you might want to also check to see if the clutch caliper is pushing out all the way.. you might have to take the air out of it. When you replaced the cv boot, did make sure that you used the proper bolts when you reassembled the brakes? You might have a wrong size bolt that is holding the brake (( that might be the noise you hear )). good luck hope this helpsl.

The axle is not pushed into the trans far enough.
