ok i put some coolent in my radiator and i filled the back up res took my car around the block came back, like 5 mins later the coolent in res was ALMOST gone then another 3 more mins it was GONE !! What is goin on ???
coolant ferries?
I would say there has to be a leak somewhere and the coolant leaking out is being captured somewhere else and not falling onto the ground, if you don't see any forming on the ground. I would say feel around during cold engine and look for coolant somewhere.

what the h*ll does engine oil have to do with coolant? it isn't mixing, or else there would be white/blue smoke...
sure there's no air bubbles? cuz if the system works it around and then the level dropped - you did nothing wrong, it just is clearing its own system. if your heater is hooked up, check under the dash for some leaking, could be bad heater core where it leaks out. if your temps are normal, i'm doubting its consuming because there would be tons of whitesmoke... and your engine should really give you all the signs if there's leaking coolant because it would be really messy and smell like antifreeze.
good luck

if you cant see white smoke cvoming from yuor exhaust and yuor not seeing coolant leaking any where, its going into yuor oil pan. if you pull yuor diipstick it will be over full and look milky in color, thus coolant mixing with the oil. its leaking bewteen the head gasket and block and running into oil pan.
