could someone please give me the torque specs for head bolts, intake manifold, connecting rods, oil pan, and any other you know.. its for a 2000 teg.. gs-r. thanks.. jenn,, need these a.s.a.p.

 

head bolt - 63 lbf-tq
intake manifold - i think its 17, not too sure though
connecting rods- dont know
oil pan- 7-8 again, im not too sure, but i think thats about right.

 

Cylinder head bolts:
Step 1:19-22 ft lbs
Step 2:59-63 ft lbs

Intake manifold bolts:15-17 ft lbs

Oil pan bolts: 8.5-8.7

yeay! thank you.. also. camshaft caps?

 

relooked it up, oil pan is 8.7
and for connecting rods, first you go to 14, then again to 33.

also, for the head bolts, you go to about 20 the first time arounmd, then do again.

all this is found in a helm manual, you may wanna think about getting one, it seems like it could help you out a lot.

camshaft caps: 6.7-7.2
