2000 Civic Si bogging problems and stutters up to 3 or 4k rpm's!!!Plz help
Ok, my car runs fine when it is cold before it warms up, then it will start to bog considerably yet will never die, then it seems just as it hit about 3 or sometimes 4 thousand rpms it wakes up and runs fine...what do i need to do to fix this?
Thank You

the check engine light use to come on sometimes, then go away after a while, but it did come on recently but only because i pulled out a secondary o2 sensor while it was running..i didnt hear her purrrring.
i replaced the wires with msd 8.5's and the spark plugs iridiums, there is absolutley nothing wrong with the cap, brand new, and the rotor is brand new too. I heard it could be my IAFC valve i believe is what is was called. could someone give me some info on the pcv valves????
Sounds like a map sensor malfunction.
Have you check your timing?
Any recent work done to the car?

It could be a number of things. I had the same problem on my 00' si. It sounds like either you need some new plug and wires, or a new distributer( whole assembley) Does your car have a swap in it?
