low oil pressure. no oil pickup gasket myabe?

not sure if i put the old one in after rebuild and now i have low oil pressure and vtec isnt working. would not having that gasket cause low oil pressure?

Make sure your oil panned isn't severly dented.
I would even try to open vtec with low oil pressure.

not leaking oil. its not the oil pan gasket, its the pickup gasket if thats what you were thinking.
