My mph isnt working, cluster and VSS is good, so I took out the entire VSS assembly out and u know how it has gears/teeth at the end? well I looked inside the hole in the tranny and there were no gears/teeth on in there to turn the gear/teeth on the VSS. Kilda like this..




I put my finger in there and felt around and it felt like an empty hole all the way around is it possible that when they took my tranny apart to put in the LSD they forgot to put back in the gear that turns the other gear on the VSS? or is it not even touched when installing an LSD?

i dont imagine you would have to mess with that to put in an LSD. I didnt mess with anything like that when i did my ISB. Did this problem happen right after you had the work done? If anything, you can confront the person that did the work and ask if anything happened or something.
