Default 92 prleude tranny rebuild

I pulled it off woot talk about a confidence booster.

objective: take 2 blown tyranny's make one good one.
handicap (-) never done this before, no manual nore helms
handicap: (+) 4 red bull + 1 providgle

first tranny i had explode on me at about 130 on 59n in humble. shattered the bell housing and the vss on the back side of the tranny. final drive gear completely fuckered off. I mean like there is no freaking teeth left on this thing. all bearings fryed.

second tranny i was in the middle of Kingwood drive and 494 8:00 am clutch went completely out , and would not disengage. so traffic moving in from all directions and as it always has been said cant find it grind it!!! to avoid giving my 18th title to Allstate(they like me i swear)with all my might jarred eer off in first then second to get over railroad tracks of course my fucktarded luck there was a freaking train U.P. coming right as this all happened. go to remove from gear and capooow. 1-2cnd gears and syncros fuckered straight to tranny hell.

so 8:00pm last night i begin taking these 2 apart watching bearings springs and pins just scatter the floor. 12:00 am realized that i had all the parts to fix one tranny 2:00 am tightened last bolt grabbed impact and 13/16 and ran her through the gears. flawless no grinds no pop-outs reverse engaged extremely smooth. HELL YEAAA... I JUMP UP IN THE AIR AND (I DON'T SAGEST THIS TO ANYONE) SPIKED MY 1-1/2 WRENCH/CHEATER BAR RIGHT INTO THE FREAKING CONCRETE. It grazed me and went flying into the park and ride behind where i work and ... well lets say Clifford makes a real cool glass Mic. any way back over the fence ripping my pants and almost doing a face plant on the concrete. i remember being able to jump alot higher than that lil 4 ft fence... cleaned up and home by 3:30am.

and now back at work, final install and hooliganistic test will be done later today ill post some pics and final report later today

I think i found my niche (GEARHEAD)

Nice! I'm not sure I could dig through the guts of a couple trannies and come out with a good one without some kind of manual.

that's kinda what I plan on doing. I have a fucked up M2B4 M2S4 and i'm pretty sure they will swap components. basically I am planning on swapping the gears from the M2s4 into the M2b4 to have an m2s4 w/ factory LSD

Aw man, I only have one spare tranny. At least it's fully intact and functional.

Ryanhooligans: Great post. Is that some kind of dialect?
