so i just changed out my main shaft bearings in my si tranny. now im wondering if there is a specific way to put the fork inside the case that changes the gears in a certain way? like at a certain position it should be at and does it matter what gear its in for it to be in order to go together and work?

It seems you disassembled your tranny without taking photos of it earlier. You're probably going to have to find a Helm manual to help you put everything back together exactly the right way or you're never going to be able to get everything to fit correctly in the tranny case.
