Default Heat problem L@@K :P

ok some of you guys know but i just finshed building the car and put evertyihg together.
i had alot of problems to go thru and it's still not over.

My IM feels as hot as the HOT coolant hose.
Heater only works for first 15-20 min of initial driving.
and the car heats up pretty fast. well alot faster than before at least. even tho i am running half sized rad.
and when my heater works. it's really hot and after the heater stops working it will not work again until i park the car for a while.

i bleeded the system 4-5 times already.
I went over the helms and checked if all the hoses are hooked up right.
and it's still samething.

is there any sensor that could be mixed up with anything?

T.I.A

Is the engine temperature high? How about a bad thermostat or water pump? Depending on how long the motor was sitting since it was last run (before the build), those parts could be sticking or just dead. Good luck

I don't think it would be the thermostat although it is possible. Honda thermostats tend to fail open causing the car to run cool

not necessarily, but likely. are top and bottom the same temp (top should be slightly hotter)? are you overflowing any coolant? did you get new hoses and thermo when you put the motor back in? is the thermo installed properly? are you using a NON ITR head gasket (even if its OEM, B20 maybe?)? are you POSITIVE you routed all lines correctly?

sounds like coolant being blocked somewhere in/around heater core.. - otherwise your heat would be working 100%

yeah the top is slighty hotter
not over flowing any coolant,
old hose, oem itr head gasket , thermo never came off the thermostat housing
