Default throttle sticking

ok i noticed that problem only recently, i have a bdl tb and when im going say 40 and down shift to 2nd and floor it, when i let off the thottle sticks closed. but any other time its normal. anyone have any ideas

Mine sticks occasionally too (thought not in the past 2 days). Started after I adjusted the TB rotor stop screw a bit (about 10 days ago).

Maybe is/was some buildup in there?

clean the spring of any big chunks of dirt and then lube it up. i think you can use carb cleaner to clean it, and then some kind of silicon-based lube should do it i think. i have never actually looked at the throttle spring so i'm not sure what to clean/lube it with. anyone know what to clean and lube with (no sexual jokes please)?

thanks for the info throttle works great now, just used some carb cleaner and some honda assembly lube
