Default What type of OIL??

Well the title says it all what type of oil do i need for a 94 LS.. i doubt the car was abused by the previous owner... and i haven't raced it at all.. the cars been sitting in the garage for almost a year now without an oil change because im poor and saving up for better things well what should i use?? i've read mobile 1 10w30 .. but others are saying 5w30.. the car has about 109k on it BONE STOCK. TIA

oops yea mean 5w30

5w10? the lowest i've used is 5w20, and that's because honda uses it now (and i got employee pricing. ) 5w30 is what is recommended.

^^^ with a higher mileage motor I'd go with 10w30 maybe... it all depends... if you're leaking now I'd say go with 10w30 if not stick with the 5w30...

If your engine is a 6 cyl you shold use 10w-30 if not and it a 4 cyl use 5w -30, if you have a auto-user's,mechanic book for your car when you bought it will say in there, if not you can always visit any auto store and they should have a book for you or just ask one of the workers

WTH are you talking about? Seriously man. If you don't know how many cylinders the engine in a bone stock 94 ls has then don't be giving out advice.

seys 5w30 on the cap on the valve cover... so i would assume thats what you should use. I like using castrol gtx high milage... its cheap and pertty good stuff.
