so will a frequency expander work to get fm stations or does the dial only go up to 88.7 no matter what, thnx for the help

i believe the displayed frequency will never change...you will have to mentally remember the equivalent or constantly do the addition.

it will make your radio catch US radio frequencies...but the display will not change. At one time, I was thinking about getting one of those expanders for a JDM ALPINE cd player I had...but decided not to. From what I have heard, it does work fine.

well, what range is on that unit? us is from 92.3 to 105.9. basically the booster comes preset. let's say your unit is 80 up to something. if you wanna catch 92.3, you will need to boost it by 12; just add 12 to the opposite end to see if you get 105.9. obviously, it's not perfect so you will need to select the correct one to included all the channels you want. i think they have 14, 16, etc.
