ok heres the deal i swaped in a first gen b16a with a chipped p28 ecu and it has been running strong for the past year i replaced the water pump clean my injectors, installed a new fuel filter and the car boggs when it reaches its normal temp, boggs at 1000-3000 rpm goes away when i step on it , when i switch gears it boggs again when at a stop light rpm drops and my engine wants to die out, tailpipe sound as it is backfiring and motor shakes and stops shakes and stops, when i park the car and turn the ign off there is a zzzzzzzzzzzzzz and/or somewhat of a low hiss noise coming from the fuel rail, cam gear area what could it be need help asap!!!!

 

When you replaced the water pump, did you set the timing belt and crank back to TDC?

 

yea i timed everything right i replaced the pump about 4 months ago start having these bogging problems two days ago, got any info???

 

Is the check engine light on?

 

nope no check engine light

 

not to be a dick, but, wrong forum dude. this is EF/CRX/civic 91 and under

 

he has a '92. the motor is older.
