wiring vtec on Jdm b16a swap..
ok fellas well my buddy and i just swapped his car last week and the map sensor wasnt on the JDM motor which he purchased from password jdm and so we took the D series harness off the d15 motor and put it on there and i was wondering what it took to wire the vtec on the B16a or should we of used the B series harness and just wired in the map sensor cause he drove it without a map sensor and burnt a tank of gas in 125 miles so we changed the harness just to have the map sensor and i know theres a way to do this just lemme know what to do or something thanks alot and the throttle cable bracket is not working with the throttle cable from the 94 civic what can we do about that also any help would be greatly appreciated people thanks
you can just plug in a map sensor and get a 1/4 in vacum line and run it from the nipple of the map sensop to the top nipple of the throttle body. what yr is the car? if you are trying to wire the vtec, the solenoid is A6 and the vtec oil pressure sensor is D6
its a 94 what do think we should do d series harness or b series cause the b series is completely backwards from the d series cause it is jdm and you have to stretch things to make them work ya know.........
