so a buddy of mine is puting a new motor in this girls car he ordered the same motor but when it came it was a zc motor(thats whats stamped on the block) from a old integra he put it in and hooked up every thing we have fuel and spark but it won't even sputter he put the old head on there that is a y8.

id it because of the old block? what else could it be?the block is from a obd0 car and this is a obd1 car

If your friend is as intelligent as you, I'd say it could be any number of things, most of which could be cured through brain surgery or convulsive shock therapy. If he's you're intellectual lesser, he probably drank all the coolant thinking it was green Kool-Aid that tingled in his tummy.

no i have a mini me in my crx the guy shipped us the wrong motor we just wanted the stock block but he shipped us a old zc block what i wana know could the old block be the problem or does it have nothing to do with it?what could the other problems be with the motor not even trying to start
