JDM Foglights wiring help.
Hey guys, i have searched and have been using the DIY Depo foglights installation to help me along my way with installing my OEM foglights.
The foglights i purchased are genuine EG6 fog's. They came with the lights and housing, dimister and foglight button and this wiring loom. I must be missing some wiring. This cant be complete can it?? that is my question. Here is a pic of all the wiring i got with the lights. Can someone let me know if im missing something and if so whether they know where i can get it, is it as simple as purchasing some wiring from a local auto store or not. Or will i need to find another EG6 foglight wiring loom.
I think im missing the foglight harness and this is the switch harness only. I just need some confirmation.

it looks like you are missing the front harness. the green plug is for the switch, the brown plug with white is the main power , the one beside it is for the parking light signal, and the brown with blue should be the output to the lights.
there should be another section that goes from another plug in the front corner (also has a blue wire) that plugs into the lights in the bumper.

thanks heaps for that info, helps alot.
So is that a complete switch harness?
This other section you mentioned that also has a blue wire, would this be a part of the foglight harness?

This is a complete interior harness. The plug with the blue wire is supposed to connect the inside harness to the outside harness. Some 94-95 Civics already came prewired for fog lights. You should look for a brown plug near your windshield fluid reservoir and near the firewall behind the fusebox. If it's there, connect the interior harness with the "fusebox" plug and connect the exterior harness with the "reservoir" plug.
However, if you have an early model EG, you won't have the convenience. Instead run a wire from the exterior harness through the firewall to the interior harness.
You can buy the exterior harness separately, but the plugs are different from the USDM harness and the JDM fog plugs. So you will need to do some splicing or cut off the plug and put on connectors.

Helpful info blueintegraboy! thanks heaps.
I actually live in Austalia. I might see if i can find another complete plug with full harness (outside and inside). I also have an earlier model EG (92), so thats no good.
At least i know what i need now.
This was a good help also:

Yeah you're missing the front harness with the ground wire and power wire. For instance, the front harness consists of two sets of wires that go into the lights, one negative wire as the ground wire, and the last is the positive wire that plugs into the positive battery for power.
You might be able to get a depo version for a good price.
