could i use a 2dr catback. Also will a catback from a 2dr dx coupe fit my 4dr dx. its a 94

yes it will fit.

Dx and hx have the cat. in the mani. a ex, lx and others have a the cat down stream under the car. But if you could use a ex exhaust on a dx with a adj. test pipe too.

 

dx 4dr has the cat. under the car

IIRC the cx was the one that had it in the mani

 

are you sure. My old dx and any dx ive ever worked on the cat was in the mani. Im sure there isnt a different in that from coupe to sedan.

 

Okay so here's the basis of the exhaust, I know since I've done it on most of the 92-95 2dr and 4dr, and a couple of 96-00 ex and SI's.

92-95 dx/lx/ex 2dr/4dr can share exhausts w/o any modifications

96-00 ex/si 2dr or 4dr can share exhausts w/o any modifications

96-00 ex 2/4dr and Si 2/4dr exhausts will fit any 92-95 dx/lx/ex 2/4dr w/o any modifiations.

I know this as I've already transfered exhausts for those gens personally. I haven't done the 96-00 dx/lx/hx yet, since the cats are on the manifold, and my friends that had 96-00 civics were all Ex or SI's.
