i have a set of srp pistons and a set of eagle rods.......how is the piston aligned with the rod when assembling??? need help asap

 

bearing tang/notches face toward the front of the ENGINE BAY(exhaust side). Install pistons with deeper valve cuts on INTAKE SIDE, or compare them to your stock pistons and install accordingly.

Do you know why they should be installed that way?

 

Hell no I don't but if Earl says to install it that way, then I'd just take that advice and go with it.

 

well i dont have the stock pistons i just bought a bare block

 

how do these pistons go on here im still confused and i havent had time to just call srp.............????

 

any info??
