Default Is this possible w/ 1000 spring rates

I was at an autocross yesterday and a guy driving a vette, that was built for road racing, said that he had spring with a rate of 1000. He told me that when you hit bumps with the car that your sight goes blurry for a couple seconds. Is this true that your sight goes blurry or did this guy make up a story?

Maybe not a couple seconds but he said his vision is blurry for a little while after he hits a decent sized bump. He said that he always warns people about this before he lets them drive his car.

So you think he was making this up?

He was being sarcastic. And you seem pretty gullible.

No, he said it being serious. I am certain that this guy was being serious.

Just let it go. And I'm sure that fish he cought was a 45lb trout too. There are drivers out there who like to stretch the truth to make themselves feel sweet. It just so happens this guy fits the mold.

I daily drove my civic on 900/800lbs rates... he is full of crap Unless he has eye issues (detached retina) and needs medical attention.

Ok. I found it hard to believe, but I have never been in a car with springs even close to that so I didn't know. Maybe he has eye problems.haha

And here I just thought I was having seizures...
