First I like to say is that a alarm is not going to stop someone from breaking into your car. alarm is to bring attention to the fact that someone is tampering with it. It also to be there if installed correctly to keep the intruder from starting your car. Having your radio-If it is a detachable face- left on the radio while you are gone makes your situration a crime of oppertunity. A alarm would not of stopped that. But don't feel bad. I have about a grand retail on my alarm system, And I had my cd's stolen last week while shopping at the mall. I tell all of my customer's about doing this, But I slipped and did not heed my on advice.

If you are looking for a alarm look into compustar or any dei alarm products. Audiovox if also a good company too. But any alarm installed correclty and with some good extra layers of protection will do the job. Good luck to you.

Sorry for the grammer its party time over here, lol
