P2P 96-98 Civic EX D16Y8. You are going to need to do a 2 Wire IACV fix, wire up vtec, and add the knock sensor wiring also. LMK if you need anymore help!
I wouldnt do that... I was runnin a B7/Y8 Head on a p28 and it never ran right... it ran to rich or some stupid ****. Just get the P2P thats your best shot for plug n play
I'd go with a chipped P28 so you can tune it yourself. You'll need to do the same as far as wiring goes, just need a conversion harness.

Unless you are going all out and have big plans to make real power, than an obd1 conversion is a waste of time and money.
I plan to turbo it in the future that is my next step:
(BTW Im helping my brother fix his hatch up so this is for him)
I have done so far
Wheels / Tires = Check
Coilovers = Check
Clutch = Check
and right now im @ getting rid of the manifold from that wimpy D16y7 manifold but I dont want to waste 50-100$ on the OBD2 ecu when it could go toward the OBD1 Conversion ECU. What do you guys think?

You obviously have never turboed a SOHC and have not seen this thread. Please provide accurate information in the future https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1643764 what do you want me to do ? Waste 3800 on a GSR swap and make a whopping 170 HP
or Spend 3000K on my swap and make more than that
.

Well you obviously have never seen any of my cars, I had a turbo charged D15b7 that had head, and block work that was putting down a good 220 hp. Thank you
arguing on the internet is pointless. thank you.
anywho - why don't you just swap a whole D16Y8? i'm no D-series afictionado, just wondering why the hassle for a head swap when u can just swap it all?
