Default whats a din cage for

studio listen i got installation kit head unit wiring harness so theirs nothing else i should get to make the install my derections said that i have to slide my head unit in my din cage got the kit from circut city

The din cage slides into the hole in the dash and you slide the new audio unit in it and it locks in. Can't properly install a cd player without it.

so i guess i'm an idiot for using screws and the factory mounting holes when i put my player in. stupid me.
