looking for a new suspension for my EF
Okay, so I am planning to get rid of my KYB/Ground Control setup in favor of a TRUE coil over, for separate ride height and adjustment. I looked at Tein and they do not offer a true coil over setup for our EFs- what do you recommend? Looking for something that I can tune for the weekends at the track..
I don't know if they are available in the US, but KW makes some pretty good coilovers.
There are two variants for the EF. All coilovers are stainless steel - they call it inox line.
V1 not adjustable in damping (I have this one)
V3: adjustable damping technology -rebound and compression damping
Ah - I got it:

I actually don't know which EF you own. The cart shows the german (european) Carcodes. If you need help, ask me.

all this talk about coilovers makes me laugh.
you ever seen coilovers get properly tuned.
Seeing people adjust their coilovers by eye
screws with the over all handleing of the car.
You gatta load ( if i remember right) equal weight onto each coilver, or in better terms, distribute the weight accordingly.
You might as well be rockin cut springs ( not really )
just my .02

He probably means an integrated unit. Where the thread perch is part of the body allowing for "dual adjustment".
Honestly, theres no better setup than Neuspeed Koni Yellows and GC w/ custom spring rate.
Neuspeed Koni is 20mm shorter which compensates for droop if you decide to run the car extra low....if that is still not enough you always get the GC top hat to help further
also the Neuspeed Koni has (3?) points for you to mount the GC unit thus similating "double adjustment"
and finally USA lifetime w/ in house shock dyno, custom valving option.
Ive used 3 different "TRUE" coilover systems and have not found any additional benefits.
Dont buy into 32click adj...

There is no such thing as a Neuspeed Koni Yellow. Neuspeed is just a retail front for Koni to sell there shock out of.

I understand that. They may have a relationship in some capacity but it is all Koni. Neuspeed is not branded on the shock either. I do understand what you are saying.

Yeah I understand that it is a Koni shock as well and doesn't have Neuspeed written on it anywhere.
I'm just talking about the description, specifically this part:
The NEUSPEED/Koni shocks also feature an adjustable spring perch to level the car (5 machined grooves on the shock body for 5 positions of adjustment) - the most desirable handling position, as well as, a 20mm shorter droop length for use with lowering springs.
So if I ordered them from kteller they would be the same with 5 positions and the 20mm additional droop length?

neuspeed does indeed offer a different shock than the regular koni yellow. it has a 10mm piston travel limiter and extra perch positions that the normal koni yellows do not offer. its made by koni of course, and is otherwise the same as a koni yellow, but its a special spec not normally offered.

Its a redesigned Koni Yellow for Neuspeed which i think is an upgrade over the standard Koni Yellow...but every else calls it Neuspeed Koni, sorry if there was any confusion

the only downside to the SPSS twin valves is they do not carry Koni's "lifetime" warranty because its a "race" application....lol sounds like a racial thing
can anyone else confirm this?
