Default Help with JDM B16 swap and MAP sensor

Some friends and I just swapped a JDM B16 into a buddies car. His TB has no Map sensor, but at the same time, his swap didnt come with a firewall MAP, and the wire harness on the JDM motor has no plug for the MAP?

Should we use the usdm wire harness? Were kinda lost this is our first swap.

Thanks alot!

*oh yea, his car is a 94 DX*

if the last motor had one, buy a map sensor for the b16, plug it in, run a hose from the nipple above the throttle body to the map sensor, zip tie the map sensor where it cant be seen. or wherever.

I used a d15 map sensor lol. What I was told is that the map sensors on JDM cars are mounted on the fire wall. So you dont get it with the swap. I used my d16 engine harness and plugged the map sensor into it.

my b16 had a firewall MAP, but when i swapped it into my 92 Si hatch, it had the map right on the TB. i swapped the motor out then put the MAP on the firewall that came with the B16, but low and behold, i had no MAP plug because i used a CX harness with no MAP plug on the engine harness.

i had a spare plug for the MAP and just pinned the wires into the pasenger shock tower plug it's the 14plug at the passenger strut tower.
map plug colors are.
yel/red, wht, grn/wht.
the 14plug colors and locations are.
yel/grn pin5 = ecu location d19
pnk/wht pin6 = ecu location d17
grn/blu pin pin7 = ecu location d21.

heres a link to my post i made some time ago on it
