Default low oil pressure @ idle?0psi?

low oil pressure @ idle?0psi?

after it warms up
sometimes its 5...then sometimes ZERO

if its really ZERO wouldnt the stock sender flash a oil light?

oil levels are good

i read while searching that
if you T off the line going to the turbo it will show<10psi

here is my setup
i hope its readable

I have mine setup the same was as yours using the Stealthmode oil line and firewall kit, but I currently don't have the turbo line hooked up because I don't have my turbo on yet. I don't have any similar problems like yours where it goes to zero.

let me ask u this if you cut off your car does your gauge need go below 0? if it does it should be the gauge. if it doesn't and it lines up right. then my friend it should be the oil pressure sending unit, been through 3 oil pressures. autometer will fix it send it to them hope that helps

I've my setup excatly like yours. It works well. With running engine i never see 0 pressure.

It looks like the sender unit or gauge is broke. i've seen this very often, even on brand new units.

it could even be just a bad ground. consider re-checking your wiring.

im getting a zero oil pressure as well.
I cleaned out my oil line restrictor, changed to oem filter, and redid all my oil lines with honda-bond (removed shitty teflon tape)...
messed with it again today still zero, bringit off idle (@ about 1.5k rpm its @ 25 oil psi...)
I have switched from my super duper cool blox gauge to some shitty mechanical gauge and still fuckr'd up.
stupid ******' b20, only 40k miles
o well tell me how everything goes.

A heathly motor should read around 10PSI for every 1000rpm's. So at 1000 rpm's oil pressure should read AT LEAST 10psi, most honda motors that have good rings and minimul leakdown(blowbye) read about 20PSI at idle 800-1000RPM's

depends how hot it is outside and how hot your cars running also..

also the kind of oil you use effects this to..
