Here's the problem. My back window (on my 2000 RL) stopped working. I had the window down, and when I was rolling it up, it was making a loud clicking noise...so I kept pulling up and down. The window "popped" and I could smell something burning shortly after. Question: Can I remove the door panels myself?? I dont know if theres any airbags of any sort.

There's nothing to be worried about when removing the door panel, you should be able to do it yourself. Your window regulator is broken from what you describe, it's very common on RL's. New ones are pricey, someone used to sell rebuilt ones on Ebay, can't comment on the quality of those though.
