Default What do you guys use to vacuum your Lude?

I finally got a house, and now I have a place to wash and vacuum my car. I was wondering what you guys use. I was debating between a shop vac and a hand held vacuum.

Thanks!

Yeah, it's a serious question. When living in my apt., I always took my car to a car wash that had vacuums. When I lived with my parents, their vacuum for the house had an attachment to do cars.

I like to ask around before I buy something I never used. I have never used a shop vac or a hand held vac (dust buster) on a car, so I was just asking for opinions.

a dust buster will probably not be too effective to clean anything in your car besides some light weight dust.

I would go pick up a shop vac since you have a garage now. or get the lady a nice house hold vac and jack it to clean your car, two birds with one stone,

Get the Vtech vac.... it switches over to the big scrubber roller once the voltage reaches 110VAC. Does a helluva good job!

A shop vac will work fine, and it's a good thing to have as a new home owner.

I use a house vac with a detachable suction hose with an adapter and nosed shape end. When I want to clean it I just strip the interior and hose it or steam it.

Lol, exactly what I was thinking. Just take it to a DIY car wash and vaccum it out

I use a house vacuum that's really light and portable. I'm less inclined to drag out the big vacuum downstairs just for a little extra suction capability. If the car is cleaned regularly, there shouldn't be anything embedded in the upholstery that warrants anything as powerful as a shop vac.

And wow people are a little much on the sarcasm on this board. . .

Shop Vac FTW!

It's portable, affordable, lots of power, does wet and dry stuff... I have one just for the garage! I wouldn't use anything less...

Going to the DIY cleaner adds up $$... besides... garage/driveway is so much less hassle
