Default should i buy this h22?

i blew my h22
then i saw this on sale . theguy lives like 2blocks away from me.
its a red top h22. he wants 500 for it. im gonna go with my installer to chekc it out.

here is what he wrote.

for a H22A MOTOR taken out of a 1994 jdm honda accord SIR. I bought this engine, a complete swap off a dealer on ebay from Japan. It had 52,100 kilometers as shown on the cluster that i have in another auction. i went to some piece of crap mechanic to install it and he did a poor job. I don't know what he did but i know this motor runs strong. The only problem that i noticed with the motor was that it was leaking oil and un-burnt gas from the header. I don't know what the problem was but i asked a few people they said it could have been a piston ring or even a valve. I didn't have the funds to fix the problem so i had to put the f22b1 back in my accord. So now im selling the complete longblock. It comes with everything in the picture. ONLY LOCAL PICK UP IN NYC. If you have any questions email me. I am open to all offers. THERE IS NO SHIPPING FOR THIS ITEM ONLY PICK UP.

so let me know what i should do!!

i still have my h22 so i need ot know if i could use parts off it if needed, it spun bearings. but the head should be good hopefully

Sounds a little shady to me....but, if you don't mind having to rebuild a motor then I guess it's your call.

Same thought, im also a little curious. how did you "blow" your motor? Is it cheaper to fix yours then to fix this one?

i think he knows it runs strong becasue it was in his car. i think i might have raced this guy. i have to see his accord. if its the same guy his motor did run strong. it hanged with me dead even for 3 gears from a ten roll.

i have a 93 hatch his was in an accord. and we all know the accord weighs more htan the hatch

i suppose for the price you cant beat it, specially if its only a valve or something not so bad. for the money go for it, you can always part it out on here then for the same money if not more should u not be able to get it running

I say buy it, but have a contract written up so that if the motor doesn't work, you can get your money back
